The Challenge
An existing customer faced a major supply chain crisis. Their current supplier announced a sudden product change, a 400% price increase and a significantly extended lead time. With only eight weeks of stock remaining, the risk of a complete production stoppage was very real.
Our Response
Sales and Technical Teams moved quickly to stabilise the situation.
We:
- Reviewed the technical requirements of the insulating foam used in off-road equipment cabs.
- Identified and sourced candidate replacement materials based on performance, price and availability.
- Presented three practical solutions for the customer’s evaluation.
After the customer selected the preferred option, we produced digitally cut prototypes for rapid testing. Working closely with the end-user, the chosen material was validated quickly and successfully.
