The Challenge
The customer is a leading national distributor of flooring systems to commercial and domestic markets.

One range of products designed for high quality traditional-style installations, required precision cutting of various patterned materials to creative intricate flooring designs that mirror classic and contemporary installations.

They requested 3 key commitments:

• Precision cutting of materials (repeatable, to tight tolerances for up to 46 designs)
• Sub-contract material handling, packing and despatch
• Capacity to support high-volume production for domestic and commercial markets

Our Response
To meet the project’s unique design and performance requirements, we applied our expertise to optimise our advanced digital cutting technology, capable of flexible, precise cutting across multiple materials, depending on hardness, surface finish, efficiency and precision.

We began by transferring the customer’s part drawings into a digital cutting formats, establishing a foundation for consistent, high-quality production.

Solution in Action
An in-depth study followed to confirm that our process could deliver the highest level of repeatability and quality. This ensured that each piece met strict cutting standards and aligned seamlessly when assembled into the final floor design.

To meet large scale demand, we invested in two additional digital cutting machines, creating dedicated capacity.  The factory layout was reconfigured to streamline workflow and optimise the cutting environment.

A highly skilled team was trained to manage every stage: from design through cutting to final packing and even the invoicing process -fully aligned with the project’s philosophy of quality and precision.

The Result
The outcome is a fully optimised, repeatable digital cutting process delivering exceptional quality and consistency at scale. With dedicated equipment, refined workflows, and expert team, premium flooring designs are now being installed nationwide – each piece reflecting the precision and reliability of our converting process.
