NEOPRENE FOAM
Neoprene foam is a flexible, durable and water-resistant synthetic rubber used for insulation, cushioning and protective gear.
Neoprene foam made from polychloroprene rubber, is a versatile closed-cell or open-cell material known for its excellent weather, ozone, and UV resistance.
It offers good flexibility, resilience and cushioning while maintaining stability over a wide temperature range (−40°C to +120°C). Neoprene foam also resists water, oils, and many chemicals making it ideal for demanding environments.
Its closed-cell structure provides effective thermal insulation, buoyancy and waterproofing, while the open-cell type enhances breathability and compression comfort. Combining durability, elasticity, and resistance to harsh conditions, neoprene foam is valued for long-lasting protection and insulation across marine, automotive and consumer products.
Common applications include wetsuits, gaskets, seals and protective padding in sports and medical equipment. It’s also used for vibration dampening, sound insulation, and protective gear. In automotive and industrial uses, it serves as weatherstripping, hose covers and shock-absorbing components.
